THE OBJECTIVE

For this project I was tasked with conceptualizing a theme and designing a branded event system for the 64th Annual ATypI Conference in Paris, France. We had to design a poster, ID cards, and a conference booklet. Upon revisiting this project I added merchandise and signage.

AESTHETIC AND SOLUTION

Knowing that the conference would be in Paris, France I looked to its history, culture, and tastes to create what would become the Typographic Revolution. The very French color palette acts as a solid and versatile backdrop to the typography reliant designs.

POSTERS

I designed the poster first as a way to establish what elements of design I could incorporate into the rest of the designs. I wanted to make the poster something that could also function as a small token to take home which is why I made four versions in the different colors.

The conference booklet makes use of the more experimental and fun side of the branding created for the conference. It has all the information a visitor would need to navigate the venue, events, and speakers.

No conference is complete without a swag-bag full of fun goodies and swag to elevate the experience and note taking ability for all.

ID CARDS

Just like the rest of the project, the ID cards are color-blocked for easy identification, even at a distance.
